As Programme Manager for Youth Peacebuilding, I oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of initiatives that strengthen young people’s role in reconciliation and peacebuilding across Northern Ireland and beyond.Key responsibilities include: • Programme Leadership – Managing a portfolio of peacebuilding projects (Shared Agenda for Peace, Facing our History, Shaping the Future, Seeds of Hope, and Joined Up), ensuring delivery to a high standard and alignment with Corrymeela’s strategic priorities. • Capacity Development – Supporting youth workers, educators, and emerging leaders with tools and training to navigate division, address prejudice, and foster inclusive communities. • Strategic Partnerships – Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and funders across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and the USA to expand impact and secure sustainability. • Project & People Management – Overseeing budgets, reporting, monitoring & evaluation, and line management of project staff to ensure effective and accountable programme delivery. • Facilitation & Training – Designing and leading workshops, residentials, and resources that promote shared education, critical reflection, and skills for active citizenship.My work contributes to Corrymeela’s mission of creating spaces where individuals and communities can engage constructively with difference, heal division, and build a more cohesive and hopeful society.
