About Kanishka Patil
As of today - I\'m popularly known by the name Kanishka. When probed I reveal the timeless traits of being curious and excited. I\'m always enthusiastic about a conversation on anything & everything around \'business\'; I love discussing start-up ideas, business models, product innovations, consumer behaviour, and many more of these conceptsMy interest in entrepreneurship & business led me to join E-Cell IIT Bombay in my freshmen year and then transition as a core team member in my 3rd year. Those were years of immense exposure and humble learnings. Random explorations led me to unique experiences of - selling umbrellas to students missing out on classes due to abrupt rains in Mumbai, selling high-grade turmeric powder across 8 Indian states, and supplying organic tur dal to local residents of Nagpur. Currently, I am wearing the hat of a salesperson, something which I was very excited to experiment with and try out after my MBA. Working in \'sales\' is like having medicine, bitter yet very vital for life. Marketing is next on my exploration list. I\'ve worked across sectors that include - FMCG, Automobile, Pharma, Ed-Tech, R&D (Chemicals), and Consumer Tech in the form of projects, full-time roles & internships. In my free time, you can find me travelling & exploring food culture across destinations. I also love giving talks on various subjects (around entrepreneurship, marketing, motivation, placements, etc.) in colleges and coaching centers. Some of my weekends are spent connecting with students & professionals and helping them navigate their personal/ professional life.Hope to connect with you soon!
