Manage a factory that specializes in manufacturing ultra/high performance test equipment from printed circuit board through to final assembly and test - Directly oversee manufacturing, production procurement, production planning, process engineering, and DFM engineering with a total of 80-90 employees - Championed a lean conversion initiative through the facility and continuing to roadmap out the second iteration of the journey to transform the plant’s value stream by instituting pull replenishment methods - Led several kaizen events to modernize and improve Tektronix’s global PSI (S & OP) process across operations, finance, and the product lines. The improvements have led to better collaboration and alignment between the product lines and manufacturing - Installed a tiered daily management structure that aligns the issue of the production operator to the support team for the cell in order to create a more action-oriented culture aimed at improving Tektronix’s CVDs - Coached teams through projects to both onshore and offshore portions of Tektronix’s manufacturing operation in order to increase the flexibility of supply - Mentor the next generation of leaders for the plant by investing in the team’s continued learning of lean principles and by engraining a customer centric mindset into the group
