About Koustav Mullick
I pursued my MS by Research at Center for Visual and Information Technology (CVIT) in International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad, advised by Dr. Anoop Namboodiri. My thesis topic was gesture recognition/ action classification from videos. My interest lies in applying Machine Learning, specifically Deep Learning, techniques to tackle Computer Vision problems. Prior to joining Hyderabad, I did my graduation from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. I have also worked with Dr. Ujjwal Bhattacharya at Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Unit (CVPR) in Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata.
