About Khalid Turk

I operate at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and leadership, driving enterprise-scale transformation while keeping people at the center. As a C-level healthcare technology executive, I bring a national voice to AI strategy, digital transformation, and the human side of modernization. My work is grounded in data, operational discipline, and pragmatic innovation. Beyond my public-sector executive role, I am a published author and regular speaker at leading healthcare conferences. My mandate is simple: build systems that scale, teams that excel, and cultures that endure. Much of my career has been spent leading large-scale healthcare integrations and digital transformations. The lesson that keeps surfacing: sustainable impact comes less from strategy decks and more from trust, alignment, and collective purpose. The work bends when the people behind it bend together. Over the years, I have shaped multi-million-dollar initiatives across clinical operations, digital infrastructure, and workforce development. I take pride in the outcomes. I take more pride in the partnerships that delivered them. I bridge technology with enterprise strategy, building scalable systems that serve patients, providers, and communities. Recent highlights: Led the end-to-end acquisition and integration of Regional Medical Center on a six-month timeline, restoring Level II trauma, stroke, and STEMI services on day one. Year one delivered approximately 12,500 admissions, 82,250 ED visits, and over 2,700 critical activations. Oversaw the integration of O’Connor and Saint Louise Regional Hospitals in under six months, setting a new standard for public hospital mergers in California. Delivered multiple Epic EMR implementations, legacy data conversions, and enterprise system integrations across hospitals, clinics, behavioral health, and public health since 2004. Built and led the Clinical AI Review Committee, shaping governance frameworks now referenced in national consortia including TTIC and CHIME. As a published author and speaker, I contribute to the evolving dialogue on inclusive leadership and responsible innovation. My book, The Age of Inclusion: Leading Multigenerational Teams for Success, explores how today’s best leaders bridge generational gaps to build high-performing teams. Whether mentoring next-generation leaders or guiding digital strategy at scale, I lead with clarity, courage, and a bias for action. Let’s connect if you are building bold, future-ready systems and want a partner who knows how to deliver.
