ABOUT KIMBERLEY MONDEN
As a tenured associate professor and director of the Division of Research & Innovation in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School, I\'m driven by a passion for transforming how we understand and optimize human health, both in my professional research and personal life as an avid runner and wearable tech enthusiast.My journey into clinical outcomes research began with a simple belief: rigorous science should translate into solutions that genuinely improve people\'s lives. With my PhD in Counseling Psychology and Graduate Certificate in Implementation Science, I\'ve spent nine years leading innovative studies that bridge the gap between clinical research and real-world health applications.I\'ve secured over $11 million in federal funding from the NIH, Department of Defense, and other agencies, resulting in 50+ peer-reviewed publications. My work spans from disseminating evidence-based guidelines to conducting pioneering interventions to improve health and psychosocial outcomes.What excites me most is mentoring the next generation of researchers while contributing to innovations that enhance quality of life for people with disabilities and anyone seeking to optimize their health through data-driven insights.
