Experience
Executive Director
Feb 2017 — Present · Cockeysville, MD, US
I serve GTA as its Executive Director and Principal Ecologist in Baltimore, Maryland, implementing over $100 million in on-the-ground conservation funding since 2017. GTA’s strategy, staff, operations, and board governance are supported by my efforts and I lead the organization in its key practice areas of large scale coastal resiliency, federal agency support, long term land protection and stewardship, and consulting on wetland, stream, shoreline, and reef/shellfish restoration efforts. My 2025 focus is a targeted Board Re-Organization, part of a capacity building initiative supported by the Munson Foundation, the Chesapeake Bay Trust, and Loyola University of Maryland, Seelinger Business School.
