ABOUT KIARASH MAJDI
Persevere and process-driven Researcher in Machine Learning pursuing a Statistics major at the University of Waterloo. My research interests include, but are not limited to Reinforcement Learning, Unsupervised ML and Labeling, Robotics and Vision, Pattern Recognition, and the Statistical theory of ML. I am currently involved in two separate academic research positions with supervisors Prof. Ali Mashtizadeh and Prof. Noura Limam. My first research focuses on preventing data loss by predicting hard drive failures. My other research topic concerns populating a database of diverse cyber attacks against 5G network to be used to train or fine-tune Provenance-based Intrusion Detection Systems.
