ABOUT KAREN LOOMIS

I write about the stories we inherit and the systems we don’t question.I am the author of Nobody Told Me I Am Black, the first in a long-form examination of race, power, memory, and American identity. The work blends lived experience with structural analysis, challenging cultural assumptions and inherited narratives. This series is being built independently and intentionally. Each volume expands the lens from personal narrative to national framework.I deliver keynote talks and facilitated discussions on race, narrative power, cultural systems, and the cost of silence in American life. My appearances include universities, moderated public conversations, private roundtables, and community forums designed for rigorous dialogue rather than performative debate.Karen is available for \"select\" speaking engagements and conference presentations. With more than twenty years in marketing and brand strategy, I understand how language shapes perception and behavior. My work applies that lens to culture itself.I teach graphic design and advertising at Grand Canyon University, where I train students to understand that design is not decoration. It is influence. For keynote inquiries, panels, or collaborative events, connect via direct message or through my website.
