We have a strong transaction advisory services practice and I work with many private equity firms providing acquisition due diligence services and or advising their portfolio companies on complex accounting issues or performing audits or reviews of these companies.I govern the delivery of services I provide and oversee by adhering to the following creeds:1 - I work hard to find the most practical solutions for my clients, rather than automatically running to the safest position.2- Three things require my constant attention: helping my clients avoid unexpected surprises, meeting their deadlines, and staying on budget.3- Ensuring that my clients properly apply US GAAP is important to me but so is finding the right answer, and often times more than one sound answer exists.4- Some accountants take themselves too seriously.
