ABOUT KIRSTEN L. FEDDERSEN

With over 20 years of international higher education experience, I have developed a profile that incorporates a variety of perspectives from the industry. After two and a half years in the international office of a major Danish university, I spent six years working for the largest education agent in Denmark. From there, I moved to New York City, where I took on a role as Manager of International Recruitment and Agency Operations at the State University of New York (SUNY) System Administration. In 2014, I moved to Southern New Hampshire University where I subsequently took on the role of Associate Vice President of International Programs, overseeing the institution’s international enrollment management strategy. As of November 2019, I\'m the Senior Director of Global Operations for Northeastern University. Having worked directly with students (both inbound and outbound) as well as on the strategic, political, and marketing-focused side of international student mobility has given me a comprehensive understanding of the complexity of higher education in an international context. I have a genuine appreciation for this industry, the people in it, and what we are working to achieve. If you are a colleague, a friend, or a possible business associate, please feel free to connect with me.
