ABOUT KYLE LEYDIER

Industry professional with 23 years of experience working within various facets of the Film/Television industry. As an Executive Assistant to Directors, Producers and Actors on big budget feature films, I have built many valuable relationships within the industry. On set, I have been a student of some of Hollywood’s most celebrated filmmakers. The next chapter in my career brought me to London, England where I worked at Film Finances UK. In London I was a part of the development, packaging and monitoring of international films, learning the inner workings of the business side of the industry. In 2016 I made the move to Toronto, once again working at Film Finances, where I utilized the knowledge gained in London on Canadian film projects in the more specialized role of Production Analyst. My current position is VP Film Finance at Productivity Media, where my 15+ years of experience in physical production is being utilized with the development and financing knowledge I gained while at Film Finances. My first professional short film, BAD BLOOD (adapted from the Irvine Welsh novel Trainspotting), screened at 16 festivals around the globe, winning Best Short at The California Independent Film Festival and The Victoria Independent Film Festival. My company, Campfire Films, is currently developing several feature films.
