ABOUT KLEBER S.

Kleber has over 20 years of experience both in the U.S. and abroad in General Management roles as wellas extensive experience in Payments, Business transformation, and Corporate Strategy. During his career, he has built a strong reputation for talent management, P&L management, strategic problem solving, technology and risk management, particularly in Financial Services.Kleber Santos is the Co-CEO of Consumer Banking and Lending and a member of the Operating Committee at Wells Fargo. Prior to this role, he was the CEO of Consumer Lending, responsible for leading more than employees focused on providing consumer lending products and services, including Home Loans, Auto Loans, Personal Lending, Credit Cards, Retail Services and Merchant Services.Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2020, Kleber worked for 15 years in a number of senior roles at Capital One, most recently as president of Retail and Direct Banking, accountable for the division’s P&L, product development and marketing, branches and ATMs, and end-to-end operations. Prior, Kleber was executive vice president of Capital One’s consumer bank for three years with responsibility for marketing, online and mobile channels, product development, credit underwriting, pricing, and fraud monitoring.A native of Brazil, Kleber holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Brazil and master’s degrees in both business administration and management of information technology from the University of Virginia. He previously served as a second lieutenant of infantry in the Brazilian Army Reserve Forces.
