About Kelsey Lawrence

I am a user experience designer who is adept at honing both the big picture and the small details that comprise it. However, great UX doesn\'t happen in a vacuum - this knowledge fuels my passion for nurturing UX maturity in enterprise organizations. I love evangelizing design among cross-functional teams and mentoring other creatives to together tackle what\'s next. I began my journey into UX design after studying Industrial Design and Sustainability at Auburn University. My roots in industrial/product design taught me the power of innovation, psychology, ergonomics, prototyping, and so much more. As a result, I am a believer that the best (and most profitable) products are ones that are focused on the user, while balancing technological, environmental, and business scope. I\'ve parlayed these foundations into actionable solutions across both the physical and digital ecosystem - from partnering with NASA to ergonomically design the interior of the manned excursion rovers for the 2030 mission to Mars carrying astronauts on an out-of-this-world mission, to creating the first internal design system for digital applications used by employees of the United States Postal Service. Most recently, I\'ve gotten the exciting chance to put my sustainability knowledge to action at FedEx where I\'ve lead the creative for seamlessly infusing Digital Sustainability in wayfinding and componentry across all digital channels. Specialities include: user experience design, design strategy, sustainability and corporate responsibility, design thinking methodology, UX maturity, design leadership, product integrated immersive design, industrial design, design systems, end to end design iteration within the double diamond process, and more.
