Manages the Coast Guard\'s program that mitigates cyber risk in the Maritime Transportation System (MTS) in Southwest United States (California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah). Our Nation’s MTS is a complex, interconnected system which enables critical national security sealift capabilities supporting the Joint Forces’ ability to project power worldwide and provides $5.4 trillion of economic activity each year, accounting for over 25% of our Nation’s Gross Domestic Product. Responsibilities include incident response preparation, resiliency research, policy implementation into work instructions and guidelines, coordination of Coast Guard’s prevention and vulnerability assessments teams, integration of cyber activities with other state and local agencies, and federal program communications of threat assessments and programs such as federal cyber risk mitigation grants to improve the resiliency of MTS partners.
