My primary professional focus is automation and orchestration: turning infrastructure services into an asset (instead of an obstacle) by removing points of friction, automating routine and repetitive tasks, and converting complex problems into simple ones using software as a force multiplier.My career has spanned a broad swath of the high-performance computing space. It includes several years at the leading edge of VFX and digital video as a senior engineer at industry-leading post-production facilities, as well as many years working with the production infrastructure of one of the world\'s marquee streaming services.My skill set encompasses the full stack, including deep knowledge of Linux internals and the fundamentals of TCP/IP. I am at home in private, public, and hybrid cloud environments, able to push complex projects to completion as a key participant at all stages, from discovery and design through testing and documentation.
