Provocative question:What if, in two years\' time at the latest, British schools were to send some of their more than 5 million pupils aged between eight and 15 to the British golf clubs, probably in class sizes, because they had chosen golf as their personal school sports performance subject?For over 600 years, golf courses were designed and built exclusively for adults. However, for several years now, golf clubs have been setting up so-called ‘junior tees’ on the recommendation of the R&A. However, what the rule-makers want to be seen as the beginning of a development towards genuine promotion of young golfers is still perceived by the public – even by the majority of golf club operators – as merely a piecemeal effort.I founded TIMBER TEE MEDIA to finally introduce a uniform and professional system for promoting young talent and talent scouting in golf, similar to the one that has existed in football for decades.But I cannot do this alone.
