ABOUT KLAUS EISENDLE

Klaus Eisendle has graduated in Microbiology (BSc), Biochemistry and Microbiology (MSc) and Immunology (PhD) from Innsbruck University and achieved his MD at Innsbruck Medical University, Austria, where he was trained in Dermatology, Venerology and Allergology under Supervision of Prof. DDr. Peter Fritsch and became in 2010 Senior Consultant Physician and Associate Professor in Dermatology and Venerology. He has a special interest in dermatologic surgery and allergology/immunology. Since 2011, he is the Director of the Academic Teaching Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology in the Central Hospital of Bolzano/Bozen, Italy. In 2013 he achieved an international MBA in Health Care Management (Salzburg, Marburg, Trier, Toronto) and university of Trento training for healthcare directors. 2013 he founded the Interdisciplinary Medical Research Center South Tyrol (IMREST) that 2021 (ITRS) became the Innovation Teaching and Research Unit of the local health service. 2015 he became President of the Claudiana University of Applied Sciences for Health Care Professions, 2016 he joined the advisory board for university studies of the local government and 2017 in the scientific committee for the formation of general practitioners, as also in the South Tyrolian Cancer Aid and in 2017 he also overtook the drug commission of the local health service as president and serves further as the executive research officer of the local health service of South Tyrol. 2024 he was appointed full professor by the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research. 2024/25 he established the \"medicine and surgery\" curriculum at the Claudiana University pool for healtcare professions organized together with \"la Cattolica\" University. He published more than 135 scientific articles (Scientific Citations 3033, H-Index 31, Impact Factor: 1254.7, Research Gate RG-Score 41.6, Publons/Clarivate verified reviews 375), is editor of Dermato and Section Editor of JEADV (IF 8), SkinDeep, TouchDerma and Editorial Consultant for Dermatology Practical and Conceptional, given more than 300 international lectures, was principal/coinvestigator in over 20 clinical trials and co-organized more than 80 scientific meetings.
