ABOUT KLAUDIA QORI

I am an Internal Audit Director in the Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Technology Audit team at Morgan Stanley, where I am responsible for Finance Technology (FinTech) coverage within the Application Technology (AppTech) space. I hold a Master of Science in Financial Risk Management, which builds on my strong academic and professional background, and passion for the field. I also hold dual Bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Investments (BBA) and Financial Mathematics (BS) from Baruch College, with a solid foundation in mathematics, finance, accounting, and quantitative analytics. Focusing on the analysis and mitigation of technology, operational, and market risks, complements my role as an Internal Auditor. At the Bank of New York (BNY), I have gained valuable experience in assessing financial technology systems in several business areas such as markets, treasury services, and payments operations by identifying control gaps and optimizing processes. I leveraged problem solving, quantitative, and communication skills to analyze and test internal application technology controls within the bank. Previously, I taught mathematics as an Adjunct Lecturer at Baruch College, where I developed my leadership abilities. I have also gained experience in tax advisory and served as a New York Notary Public.As I advance in my career, I am eager to further expand my knowledge and apply my skills within the financial services industry. I am particularly interested in evaluating risk management strategies and enhancing the control environment of global banks in the technology sector, leveraging AI and analyzing fintech data. My goal is to drive innovation in IT Audit while supporting the growth and success of the organizations I collaborate with.
