ABOUT KLAUDIA OFWONA DRABER
Klaudia is the founder of KODA, Brooklyn-based nomadic social practice residency for mid-career artists. She has lived and led arts, technology and strategy projects in Europe, Africa, and the United States. She has experience with strategy consulting and managing complex capital investment, business and arts projects with: nonprofits, art collections, education institutions, private institutions and artists. She works as the Director of Programs at the Finnish Cultural Institute in New York, and previously she served as Faculty at Sotheby’s Institute of Art-New York, the Head of Public Relations at Polish Cultural Institute New York, as a consultant to the British Council Arts, and worked at UBS, managing CSR projects and partnerships with artists, galleries and universities. She is a board member at ArtTable where she previously mentored and served at the Membership Committee; she also mentored creative entrepreneurs at New Museum\'s NEW INC.Klaudia was a Curatorial Studies Program Helena Rubinstein Fellow at the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program (ISP) 20••••22. Klaudia holds MA in Art Business from the Sotheby‘s Institute of Art-New York, where she developed the business plan for KODA. She also holds MA in Economics from the Warsaw School of Economics. Her thesis focused on the value of art, alternative investments and regulations of art market. Klaudia is a PhD candidate in Practice in Curating at the University of Reading with the OnCurating Academy.Curatorial
