About Klaas Koster
I have gained a rare combination of both deep and broad knowledge of the upstream E&P business after more than 30 years on three continents in jobs with ever increasing responsibility. I have a proven track record as manager and leader of diverse and multi-disciplinary teams: I have mentored and coached geophysicists, geologists, petrophysicists, reservoir, geomechanical, and geochemical-engineers and ensured integration of their results in the business. As Development Manager I lead my team in support of an annual $200 million development drilling program using three drill strings. As President of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists I served as chairman of the Board of a non-profit company with $16 million annual turn-over, 85 permanent staff, and $50 million in assets. I bring great value to the company by ensuring that all aspects of seismic data acquisition, processing, and interpretation are completed to a high standard.
