ABOUT KUBESH

I’m a Frontend Engineer with a background in architecture and a strong belief in the power of good design. I care a lot about how things work, how they feel, and how they affect our day to day lives. I love taking messy, complex systems and finding ways to make them easier and more enjoyable to use.IDEO and Human Centered Design had a big influence on me early on, and those principles still guide my work today. I like figuring out the real problem, testing ideas, getting feedback, and making things better with every iteration. I’ve mostly worked with React, TypeScript, Jest, and RTL, but I’m interested in expanding beyond that. I’ve also touched backend services and APIs here and there and enjoy pitching in where I can, especially when it helps the frontend.Outside of tech, I spend a lot of time working on a 1922 house with my partner. We’re remodeling it to reflect Victorian character after a rough 1980s remodel. It’s slow and hands-on, and it keeps me connected to my roots in architecture and physical space. We’re always exploring other shared passions and love a good side project.I recently became a parent, and that’s added a new layer of perspective. I’ve had time to step back, reflect, and now I’m excited to get back into work that feels meaningful.
