ABOUT KARIM KHAMISA

Welcome to my LinkedIn page, and thank you for taking the time to check it out! Some believe that if you are patient enough, you will land your dream job. Others credit it to luck. I on the other hand believe that if you work hard and stay focused, opportunities will present themselves. The great opportunities I have had are a result of being active within fields of interest to me. I am passionate about public policy, communications, public engagement, and technology as a means of empowerment. Oh, and music. I am a social individual who enjoys meeting and supporting others. I thrive off of interpersonal experiences of all kinds and believe in the concept of ‘paying it forward’. I have completed a Master in Management, International Business degree at the Ivey Business School, during which I completed an exchange at the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark. Additionally, I completed a consultant internship in India. My past also includes hands on experience in the business domain, presenting to federal elected officials, and serving as an acting manager for an Apple retail store. I am interested in working in communication, project or policy development, technology, start ups, and/or non-governmental organizations. I am open to working abroad and would appreciate hearing about different opportunities.
