As a division of the JeffCo EDC, the West Metro Chamber is a membership organization. The VP acts as the leader of the business affairs/development activities for West Metro Chamber, and is responsible for small business programs and initiatives, business leadership development, training, and stakeholder relations. This position will ensure that the local small business climate is nurtured in a way that job growth is encouraged, and opportunities are identified. The Vice President will oversee all staff, and work with local partners, county commission, city councilors, and various municipal administrators/elected officials to strengthen the business product within JeffCo.

ABOUT KRISTIN K.
Kristin Kim is the Vice President of the West Metro Chamber of Commerce - the hub for Jefferson County. Prior to this, she was the Executive Director of Recycle Colorado, a statewide non-profit dedicated to advancing infrastructure, end markets, and state and local policies in waste reduction, recovery, and diversion, and served as Interim CEO for the trade association and school, Independent Electrical Contractors Rocky Mountain. Her educational background consists of attending the Institute for Organization Management through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Arizona, Harvard University’s Extension School for Managerial Accounting in Massachusetts, and completing undergrad at Kenyon College in Ohio. Kristin has strong experience with equity, diversity and inclusion business development initiatives throughout her 20 years of operational business and non-profit management. She is an entrepreneur at heart.
