ABOUT KHARLITA CHAMBERS-WALKER
Little Leaders” was the name of the preschool I attended at four years old—and it’s a title that has stayed with me ever since. Even at that age, the idea that every child held the potential to lead left a lasting impression. Today, I recognize that experience as the foundation of my leadership philosophy: leadership is not a title, but a responsibility to create impact, build others, and drive meaningful change. With nearly six years of experience serving the City of Boston and currently working within the construction industry, I specialize in workforce development, community engagement, and expanding economic opportunity across the Greater Boston area. My work sits at the intersection of public, private, and nonprofit sectors—where I design, implement and support initiatives that connect residents, students, and underrepresented businesses to pathways in construction and the skilled trades. Grounded in the values first introduced to me as a “Little Leader,” I bring a strategic, solutions-oriented approach to my work—paired with a deep commitment to service, accountability, and long-term impact. I am driven by the belief that when people are given access, resources, and opportunity, entire communities thrive.
