Designed, fabricated and assembled a test rig to evaluate thermal performance on a MCHX (micro-channel heat exchanger), assessing the impact of novel technology and maturing it to TRL 3.• Created SOP, Test Plan, JHA and other documentation for test rigs and worked closely with EH & S to ensure a safe and successful testing campaign.• Developed post-processing scripts in Python and EES and compared simulation, calculated data with physical test data after conducting uncertainty analysis in EES.• Predicted the behavior of a novel technology in current HVAC products by conducting system level modelling with internal tool and aligning with stakeholders to determine KPIs for testing.• Cut 20% of test rig cost through external vendor negotiation.
