Engineer-in-training for the civil engineering industry, with experience in transportation planning, roadway design, urban planning, drainage design, water resources engineering, hydraulic design, drafting in MicroStation, Geopak SS2, SS4/SS10, and AutoCad Civil 3D. I have created stormwater models in Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, and am trained in CHI PCSWMM. Prepared location drainage studies, drainaged technical memorandums, and drainage concept reports for the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Illinois Tollway. Prepared traffic capacity studies, intersection design studies, interchange design studies, crash analysis and reports, checking signal timings in HCS. Prepared multidisciplinary project development reports for Phase I transportation projects for the Illinois Department of Transportation. Planned ADA curb ramp and design ADA curb ramps, and managed junior engineers by providing them with professional mentorship. Designed municipal engineering plans by preparing sidewalk, drainage and grading plan sets for municipal clients in the Chicagoland area, coordinating with municipal clients during both internal and external reviews. Facilitated public involvement as part of the Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS) process.
