About Kit Ballum Cohen
With over 20 years of experience in creative direction, brand development, and digital media, I work with socially-focused startups and nonprofits to amplify their impact and reach. I combine my multidisciplinary skills and passion for social justice to create compelling and engaging stories and visuals for social media campaigns, fundraising and recruitment materials, data-driven reports, and presentations. Currently, I am a Freelance Creative Director & Designer, working with clients such as Vote Mama Foundation, Essie Justice Group, Chautauqua Institution, and the Museum of the Courageous. Previously, I led the creative direction and communications team at Echoing Green, an international social innovation fund and leadership development fellowship. I also founded and published a self-initiated media project that featured social entrepreneurs and leaders in sustainability. My creative work and personal initiatives have been recognized by NPR, GOOD Magazine, Adbusters, the Art Director\'s Club, and the W3s. I am also a published writer and a contributor to The Huffington Post and PSFK.
