ABOUT KIT PROUDFOOT

From starting out in sales & hospitality, moving onto management and marketing I am now happiest when I am focusing on creative projects. This broad spectrum of experience in different sectors has given me a particularly developed sense of how to interact in any given social or professional situation as well as a far richer life experience and understanding. I have travelled to DJ, give talks or work with clients as a consultant all over Europe and as far afield as the US & China. The cornerstones of any success I have had are my hard earned planning and organisational skills as well as my ability to improvise. I can be asked at a moments notice to curate music services, DJ, audition or host a radio show and I embrace this last minute excitement as part of my process. I learn very quickly through immersion in a chosen subject and enjoy reading. Having left home at sixteen and starting my first company at nineteen I have a personalised approach and believe that anything is possible. I have had a lot of experience with improvised street interviews, on stage presentation and the scripted one to one conversational style. This skill has been bolstered by my recently taking up improvisational comedy that I regularly perform on stages around London. I have had my own business in some way or another for the past ten years. No day is ever the same as the last. I have developed a broad selection of transferable skills that would benefit me in any role. I am avid reader and huge music and comedy fan. I have recently taken up the piano and try to practice everyday. I have taken up acting as a hobby and have appeared in a number of short films. I regularly perform in improvised comedy shows. They are as rewarding as they are petrifying. I have had many other non-specific jobs, from working in retail and sales to running events, which have giving a great grounding in business etiquette and client relations.
