Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation (SPIC) Limited is one of India’s pioneering agri-nutrient and fertiliser companies and the flagship enterprise of Singapore-headquartered AM International group. Established on December 18, 1969, as a joint venture between Dr. M. A. Chidambaram and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited (TIDCO), SPIC was founded with a clear purpose: to enable higher agricultural productivity through scientific solutions. We integrate environmental stewardship with operational excellence, producing high-quality agri-nutrients that enhance crop yields while supporting long-term soil health. Our state-of-the-art fertiliser complex, with an annual capacity of 6.2 lakh tonnes of Neem Coated Urea and 6.4 lakh tonnes of phosphatic fertilisers, contributes meaningfully to India’s journey towards self-reliance in agriculture and resilient food systems.
