Industry capstone partnership with Liberty Energy (NYSE: LBRT) × CU Boulder, one of North America\'s largest hydraulic fracturing services providers, Primary point of contact: Cory Wagner - Engineering Intelligence Manager.Working on a real-time data science engineering initiative focused on automating field data entry, improving data quality, and building post-job reporting pipelines on Liberty\'s production telemetry infrastructure, a TimescaleDB (PostgreSQL) instance with 500M+ rows of second-level sensor data growing at approx. 15M rows per week.1. Established secure VPN access to Liberty\'s TigerData (TimescaleDB) environment and MongoDB FieldData collections2. Conducted exploratory data analysis across 13 operational tables including channel_data, well, pad, historical, and telemetry3. Building Python connection scripts using psycopg2 and pandas to profile data volume, time coverage, null rates, and job-type distributions across the full dataset (in progress)4. Gained access to MongoDB metadata layer and began mapping referential integrity between PostgreSQL telemetry records and job/well collections5.
