ABOUT KISHEN LADWA

Kishen Ladwa is an accomplished Business Development Manager with extensive experience in growth and strategy development within the nuclear and conventional energy sectors. He brings demonstrable technical knowledge of energy operations and engineering, alongside a proven capability to develop and maintain beneficial partnerships with utilities, technology providers, and operators. He has a track record of leading capture strategies, proposal development, and commercial negotiations for major projects, consistently contributing to business growth and sector leadership.In his current role, he leads the expansion activities for Assystem, a global service provider in engineering, project management, and digital, in North America, with a focus on nuclear new build programmes. Prior to this, Kishen supported the capture of major projects across both ends of the nuclear lifecycle, from fuel fabrication and reprocessing to decommissioning and waste management. He translates complex technical offerings into compelling business value propositions, while navigating the unique commercial and supplier landscape of the UK nuclear industry.Kishen has also contributed to the development of fusion energy as a process engineer, where he developed fuel cycle technologies for the UK nationally recognised STEP programme. He also supported the development of the Fusion Industry Taskforce, which seeks to shape UK policy on fusion by providing a consistent, independent, and insightful voice from industry, engineers, the supply chain, and academia to the UK Government.He began his career in the oil and gas sector, focusing on petrochemical and unconventional gas facilities. He holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Loughborough University.
