Assisted in the care of around 20-40 children between the ages of 3 and 12 per day. CPR certified as mandated by the Virginia Department of Education for those working in childcare. Completed a child abuse course as a part of supplemental training in order to be able to recognize key signs of child abuse, as well as understand what to do. Responsible for ensuring children are picked up and dropped off in accordance with school guidelines, and helped to calculate bill totals for the families every month.

Incoming Chemistry Ph.D. Student at the University of Cincinnati, hoping to acquire the technical expertise needed to explore functional biomaterials and their applications in drug delivery to the brain for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, like Parkinson’s. Beyond the bench, I’m passionate about translating science into impact. Whether it’s through advocacy, public engagement, or entrepreneurial ventures, discovery is only half the equation.
