ABOUT KIRUBEL MULATU

As a Financial Assistant at William & Mary Athletics Foundation, I manage and process over 100 financial transactions and journal entries per month, ensuring accuracy and compliance. I also assist in budget tracking and financial reporting, providing key financial data and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning. Additionally, I demonstrate a strong donor service focus, ensuring prompt and accurate processing of donor contributions and acknowledgments, and building positive relationships with donors and stakeholders.I am also a student at William & Mary, majoring in Government and Business Analytics (Data Science). I learn to apply analytical and computational skills to solve real-world problems in various domains, such as national security, public policy, and business. I have gained hands-on experience in marketing, as I conducted market research, post-campaign analysis, and event coordination as a Marketing Extern at Unison, a leading home co-investment company. I have also gained experience in national security and innovation, as I was a Student Consultant at Hacking for Defense®, where I interviewed over 80 stakeholders, engaged with mentors and experts, and developed and proposed an innovative strategy aligning with the Philippines\' clean energy plan. I am passionate about applying my skills and knowledge to create positive impact and value for organizations and society. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as a collaborative and supportive attitude.
