   Working as a Software Test Engineer at IBM, supporting telecom domain projects for AT & T. I’m part of the PVT (Product Validation Test) team, responsible for final testing and validation before the product release to the client. My primary focus is on ensuring the overall quality, performance, and stability of telecom-based applications in production environments.Key Responsibilities:* Conducting functional, regression, and system testing on final builds to ensure software meets quality standards and client requirements.* Performing end-to-end validation of telecom applications, identifying issues, and verifying defect fixes in pre-release stages.* Collaborating closely with development and QA teams to track issues, perform root cause analysis, and support timely resolution.* Working on test case design, execution, and report preparation, ensuring complete traceability of requirements to test cases.* Performing final validation of software builds before delivery, ensuring seamless performance for AT & T users.* Supporting defect management through proper documentation, communication, and retesting activities.* Participating in release readiness reviews to confirm all quality checkpoints are met before product rollout.* Contributing to process improvement by providing feedback from validation results and identifying areas for test optimization.This role has strengthened my understanding of telecom systems, software testing methodologies, and end-to-end validation workflows. It also enhanced my ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams within IBM and AT & T to deliver high-quality software solutions.
