ABOUT KIRTI MENGHANI
Hello! My name is Kirti and I\'m a graduate student at Robert H. Smith School of Business for the course of Information Systems. Through my coursework, I got the opportunity to work on large datasets and provide efficient, prudential insights using tools such as R, Python, SQL, Tableau, etc. I believe that proper interpretation of data can give logical backing for any business decision as it shows us the patterns and nuances which are usually missed by the human eye. Currently, I am working as a Data Analyst intern at Assurant where through data based solutions I maintain effectiveness and efficiency of audit reports, plus ensure their compliance with SOX laws and regulations. Before this stint, I was working as a Business Analyst and collaborated with the analytics team to deploy statistical models to predict product sales trends, understand ongoing issues within the organization and made informed business decisions to implement improvements to current workflows. Besides from being a data professional, as an outdoorsy person I am fond of hiking and swimming. Additionally, I\'m a classically-trained Kathak dancer.
