Control the receipt, identification, storage and withdrawal of all supported configuration items within the CMDB, including (but not limited to):o within service level targetso managing and updating tasks as required in the Service Centre Systemo reconciling asset movementso implementing Requests for Change (RFC’s) assigned to Asset Management. i.e. Change of Ownero recording and maintaining configuration item relationshipso administering procurement of new assets.o verifying accuracy of database against physical environmento liaising with Internal and External customers as required• Assist in the production of standard monthly metrics and reports for status updates on Asset and Configuration data quality and improvement recommendations to the management team for review.• Timely and accurate documentation of work performed, to the standard required and using the systems, processes and/or methods specified. This includes system documentation, Incident/Request/Problem ticket updates, Asset and Configuration records and time reporting• Customer centric prompt and effective action when dealing with client requests, questions and concerns• Proactively identify and provide recommendations for process and technology improvements• Assist team members and other Operational areas where and when required.• Actively participate in service improvement activities
