ABOUT KIRSTY WALTER
As Editorial Manager, I’m responsible for balancing content editing requirements with available internal staff and external suppliers. While I help optimise process, I never let content quality out of sight. I love that I still get to build upon what I started as Editorial Specialist, presiding over the whole editing process and constantly seeking new ways to help clients establish and communicate their tone of voice and style to writers. And I’d be lying if I didn’t say I still get so much satisfaction from turning a good piece of writing into something striking. After 5 years working for myself as a translator and editor, it was a tough decision to go in-house and leave translation - very much part of my identity - behind. But having already been part of the ICS-digital content team for so long, I am still enjoying building upon that relationship.
