Responsible for building and managing/leading high-performing, collaborative, interdisciplinary and integrated projects in various therapeutic areas such as oncology, immuno-oncology, inflammation, immunology, CNS, fibrosis, infectious disease. Drug discoveryA cell biologist and pharmacologist with more than 20-years’experience in pre-clinical drug discovery and lead generation. I have a track record of progressing molecules from target validation through lead optimisation. I am currently a Pharmacology Director; responsible for providing project leadership, drug discovery consultancy and robust research plans for medicines discovery innovators. I worked more than 15 years in large Pharma. As a leader in AstraZeneca’s Global HTS group, I was responsible for delivering hit generation strategies, assay and technology development and leading external alliances and innovation partnerships. I am experienced in supporting multiple small molecule and complex medicine projects in a number of disease areas including oncology, neuropathic pain, infection and neurodegeneration.
