Kirsty is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office, practicing within the firm\'s Real Estate and Financial Services Group. Kirsty has enjoyed a diverse career within the real estate sector, previously in a residential role, and now focusing on commercial real estate and real estate financing. Kirsty\'s clients include investors, developers, funds, borrowers and both institutional and private lenders. Kirsty regularly advises on a range of real estate matters, such as the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, management of property portfolios and the securing of various types of real estate including industrial, multi-family and hotels, acting from the preparation of the initial loan documentation through to completion of the financing. Kirsty is dual qualified to practice law in both Scotland, admitted to the practice of law in 2005, and Ontario, having been called to the Bar in 2015 after completion of her equivalency exams.
