WORK HISTORY
Uk Head of People Operations @Group 1 Automotive UK
I am a senior People leader with a strong track record of partnering closely with operational leadership to deliver commercially sound, people-centred strategies in complex, geographically dispersed organisations. As a trusted advisor and critical friend to senior stakeholders, I specialise in shaping and delivering operational people agendas that enable performance, engagement, and sustainable growth. I bring deep generalist HR expertise, including complex employee relations, employment law, TUPE, and M&A activity, alongside a pragmatic understanding of how people decisions impact frontline operations. I am passionate about using data, insight, and sound judgement to influence decision-making, drive clarity in ambiguity, and balance short-term operational priorities with long-term strategic outcomes. A core strength of mine is leading and developing high-performing, geographically dispersed People teams. I focus on building credible, commercially astute Business Partners who are confident in challenging constructively, supporting leaders effectively, and delivering real value to the business. Succession planning, talent development, and leadership capability are central to how I lead. Calm under pressure and energised by change, I thrive in fast-moving environments where resilience, influence, and operational agility are essential. I stay closely connected to external people trends and the wider commercial landscape to ensure HR solutions are relevant, forward-thinking, and impactful.
