ABOUT KIRSTY RINGLAND

I’m a qualified tax accountant with 10+ years experience and have worked in two of the Big Four Accounting Firms - PwC and Deloitte.I attended Banbridge Academy grammar school in Northern Ireland from September 2008 to June 2015 successfully obtaining top grades in my GCSEs (2013), AS Levels (2014) and A Levels (2015).In spring 2015, at the age of 18, I was 1 of 14 successful candidates who secured a Higher Apprenticeship role within the International Mobility Assurance Platform team in PwC (in lieu of University) subject to obtaining certain A-Level grades which I achieved in August 2015. I started PwC on 3 August 2015 with a week-long induction based in Greenwich, London. I successfully completed a Level 4 Diploma in Tax Practice which is accredited by the OCR awarding body. I left PwC on 1 March 2017 after being offered a more challenging and versatile role in Deloitte. On 13 March 2017, at the age of 20, I joined Deloitte primarily working in the Private Client Services team but have also assisted both the Corporate Tax and VAT teams on various projects. I successfully completed my ATT exams by the age of 20 to become a member of the leading professional body The Association of Taxation Technicians. Since summer 2018, in addition to playing a significant role in tax return compliance, I have managed the monthly payroll compliance process for all of our payroll clients which also includes preparing the P60/P45 and P11D year end forms for the employees of these multinational corporations.
