ABOUT KIRSTY LITHERLAND
I’m Kirsty-an optometrist since 2010, a practice owner since 2018, and an optometry humour based content creator with a soft spot for funky glasses, finding the funnies in life, and looking after my patients and my teams. I co-direct 2 practices that combine clinical care with a more boutique feel. No conveyor belts, no rushed appointments, just good patient care and conversations.Alongside patient care, I’m interested in leadership, marketing, and the real life challenges of running a business in healthcare all whilst looking after my son. I also create light hearted content for eye care professionals, looking at the fun, frustrations, and weirdnesses of our profession (those odd little things that happen? It’s not just to you!)I’m currently learning to be more visible online hence the pimped up LinkedIn profile, and am edging towards the light outside the test room…So I’d love to connect with others in a similar boat!
