As a Senior Director and Global Head of Materials Science MSAT at GSK, I bring rich experience in the pharmaceuticals industry, spanning both R&D and Manufacturing. My journey at GSK has had me based at four different sites, including a transformative 3-year global assignment in the US.Starting my career as a lab bench analyst, I have grown through various site-based and central roles to become a leader, driving innovation and excellence in pharmaceuticals. I have a broad experience across products, dosage forms, and modalities, which has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the industry\'s complexities and dynamics.In my current role, I am privileged to lead three exceptional teams of scientists, two based in the UK and one in Singapore. Together, we focus on pushing the boundaries of Materials Science and Analytical to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. My leadership philosophy is rooted in collaboration, continuous improvement, and fostering a culture centred on scientific excellence and substance. Additionally, my background in Operations Management and Product Lifecycle Management complements my technical expertise, enabling me to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and operational execution effectively.
