In April 2021, after nearly 7 years at Greenway Health, I was presented with an opportunity to become a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis at an organization that was just starting to build out a FP & A team. Within this high-growth organization, I am currently responsible for the successful implementation of Workday\'s Adaptive Insights, revenue and COGS models for multiple revenue streams, organizing and hiring analysts for the FP & A team (recruiting experience coming full-circle FTW!), helping to build out the very first budget for the company while working directly with the C-Suite, Senior Leadership team and functional business owners, establishing KPIs and OKRs for each department, and creating monthly and quarterly reporting packages and presentations. Post-budget, focus will shift to standing up a monthly forecast process and review within my FP & A team and across the functional business units among a variety of other one-time and on-going projects and initiatives.As a Business Economics graduate from the University of South Florida, I began my career at Greenway Health as the Recruiting Intern. Though I was rather unfamiliar with recruiting and what it all meant at the time, I decided to accept the role to learn about different positions within a company. After interning and being a full-time recruiter for about a year and a half, I pursued a role within our FP & A team to take the next step in my career and utilize what I learned in school. After one year of being an Associate Financial Analyst, I was promoted to Financial Analyst II. After two hardworking years, I was promoted to Senior Financial Analyst. I had made my way through most of the FP & A functions and areas, where I then focused more on corporate finance, and supporting and working directly with the HR and Executive leaders as their Senior Financial Analyst and trusted advisor. Some of my biggest achievements within my career at Greenway include, but are not limited to: re-building and streamlining 2 separate revenue/customer retention models that previously took 7 business days to complete into 1 model that takes 2 business days; building out and improving Adaptive Insights so we could use OfficeConnect to instantly refresh a variety of models and files utilized throughout the business; re-defining, testing and implementing a new methodology to track the number of providers using our product; being the lead financial analyst on government-required data reporting; simplifying our company-wide headcount reporting.
