I’m an experienced, full-cycle talent acquisition professional currently leading GitHub\'s Executive Talent Acquisition team. Before entering the tech talent space, I studied nonfiction writing at Occidental College. While there, I edited the campus paper, advised prospective students through college admissions, and assisted a non-verbal, quadriplegic author. Through these experiences, along with my former gig as a model signed with agencies around the world, I developed poise and effective self-advocacy, an ability to graciously absorb critical feedback, and a (charmingly) deadpan sense of humor. Once you\'ve modeled a Snuggie, you learn to stop taking yourself so seriously. I\'ve found my home in HR because I\'m hardwired to take meticulous mental notes on the interactions and environments I observe, and I\'m known for reliably reading and gracefully reacting to others’ emotional needs.
