Kirsten Longbottom joined EPFR in July 2021. Her primary role is producing relevant, impactful research and developing compelling data visualizations that bring EPFR’s Fund Flow data and insights to life.Kirsten is the lead writer for the Sector Fund & Precious Metals section of the Weekly Global Navigator, and has authored several Quants Corner pieces on themes ranging from CLOs and electric vehicles to artificial intelligence and copper. In addition to sectors, she is building expertise in ESG and alternative investment fund flows. She also supports client engagement and retention activities by delivering research-driven materials, commentary, and focused webinars. She regularly corresponds with journalists and news outlets with timely data and insights.In addition to research and editorial responsibilities, Kirsten developed EPFR’s Custom Groups — funds grouped together based on a common theme or niche area of the market – enhancing the granularity and flexibility of EPFR’s data and analytics.
