Weather2Travel.com is an online travel publisher that shares climate information on destinations around the globe, as well as travel deals from leading brands and inspiration to help travellers get to where they want to go for less. I have worked as the online editor here for seven years and on a mainly remotely since the beginning. I have made many editorial and travel PR contacts for the company and regularly represent Weather2Travel.com at events as well as on press trips to cover a product or a destination for the site. My day-to-day role includes- planning and executing the content calendar, including commissions and in-house content- working with 50+ regular contributors, travel writers and bloggers- editing and publishing submitted freelance articles - using my extensive SEO experience to write relevant content for the website (both copywriting and creative)- ensuring consistency in our tone of voice across all website content- working with travel brands to create content that furthers affiliate partnerships- representing Weather2Travel.com at events and on press trips with brands and DMOs- building on my strong working knowledge of the travel industry including brands and destinations- working with the digital marketing assistant to oversee newsletter production and social media output- responding to Google Analytics and using the house CMS
