ABOUT KIRSTEN MCWILLIAMS

I graduated from Penn State York in May 2017 with a B.S. in Marketing and Management. I have over 8 years of marketing experience and currently work as a Marketing Project Specialist at D&H Distributing Company, where I continue expanding my marketing and project management experience and skills. Previously, I worked as an Account Executive for Tower Marketing, a premium full-service Internet marketing agency that has been in business for over 25 years.Earlier in my career, I was the Marketing Manager at ASSETS, a Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based nonprofit and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that provides entrepreneur training and small business financing to small business entrepreneurs. My experience also includes working at Lumi Marketing & Creative (formerly YRK Creative) as a Marketing Assistant and at YRK Magazine as the Managing Editor.During my college years, I was highly involved on campus, holding leadership positions in several organizations. These included serving as treasurer for Penn State THON, the world’s largest student-run philanthropy dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the fight against pediatric cancer; president of the Blue and White Society; a member of the Penn State York Student Government Association; and a member of the Penn State York University Programming Board.
