ABOUT KIRSTEN LORD

With 30+ years’ experience of founding and growing companies, I began with a bricks and mortar business, The Physio Centre (Edinburgh & Glasgow), delivering circa 15K treatments per annum. From 2010, I transitioned into the digital health sector where I created and launched an innovative self-assessment platform, PhysioWizard® that was sold into large healthcare providers including Nuffield Health, Benenden Health, NHS England, and corporates such as NatWest Bank. PhysioWizard®, released in 2018, was the UKs first CE Marked and clinically trialled musculoskeletal (MSK) digital triage platform that translated clinician’s face2face/ telephone triage into a digital assessment. My new product is DigitalMSK, a simple, effective and highly personalized MSK self-assessment and triage tool. DigitalMSK is easy and fast for people with MSK symptoms to complete, the culmination of 14 years’ experience in digital product design and integrates the results of extensive user testing with feedback from patients, clinicians and organizations. This tool is simple to integrate and is enhanced by additional features that reduce clinician work and improve patient outcomes. DigitalMSK pathways are designed to upload into digital and AI platforms, enabling organizations to integrate, configure and quickly deliver their own bespoke digital front door. Having partnered with a global health tech company we are releasing our platform imminently for commercial use in health and wellbeing and private practice sectors.DigitalMSK puts people at the heart of care whilst supporting clinicians. Our technology enables people, giving more time for unhurried conversations, developing emotional connections and shared decision making.
